11,500 women wanted to stand up, go pink, and be counted……a Friday night footie curtainraiser!

The Breast Cancer Research Network together with sponsors – the AFL, Bakers’ Delight, Australia Post and Kaz Group – are planning a world record breaking event to be beamed round the world in a show of support for women with breast cancer, at the MCG at the Melbourne vs Adelaide match on Friday May 6th.

How will it work? You register and pay $25. You get a pink poncho on arrival at the ground and you get free entry to the game. Gate 1 opens at 4.30 and you take part in the Field of Women event before the game….imagine the spectacle!

Girlfriends, sisters, mothers and daughters – all women – supporters and survivors are invited. You don’t have to have breast cancer to take part…all proceeds go to breast cancer research.
